The Scottish Medico Legal Society includes members of the medical, legal, scientific and criminal justice professions across Scotland.
The Society provides a forum for the discussion of subjects of interest to our members and their guests. SML Society aims to promote all aspects of medico-legal knowledge and understanding.
As medicine, forensic science and related disciplines advance, their importance increases in providing evidence and expert opinion. Each year Council of the Society draws up an interesting and informative programme of speakers. Many of the topics combine medical and legal issues; some are current, some historical.
